Symbols are important. They are because if the bald Eagle did not represent freedom then it there would not be a point of it being important. Also if the American flag did not represent the 13 original colonies and the 50 states then what would be the point. That is why I think symbols are important. Three things that represent the U.S is The statue of Liberty, American flag, and the Bald Eagle.

symbols are important because some of them represent our country and the u.s. symbols are also important because they mean different things.

Symbols are important to the United States because they represent things. With symbols, we can show pride, power, and many more things. Symbols help us to represent our country, state, and even our town. Things that represent the USA are eagles (they are on the quarter and represent power and strength), buffaloes (which are on some coins), and the flag (with 50 stars for the 50 States and 13 stripes for the 13 colonies).

Symbols are important because they can represent things that are important to us, that have a special meaning or that make us feel. Symbols like a flag can represent a Country- the American flag represents the United States. It makes us feel proud of the country we live in. The Bald Eagle is also a symbol of the U.S. The Bald Eagle shows the beauty of our country and the strength we have as a nation. The Statue of Liberty represents freedom that we as citizens have and should never take for granted. The North American Bison was once an endangered species. The naming of the Bison as America’s national mammal will make sure that it will be protected in the future. My answer shows that symbols are important for different reasons. One reasons is that the symbols represent our country and another reason is it helped animals to survive. This is why I think symbols are important.

Symbols are important because they represent something people feel strongly about, like their country. Three things that represent the US are the bison, the bald eagle and the office of the Presidency. The article said that the Bison became the national mammal when Barak Obama(President) signed a law in May. Before that, the bald eagle was the national symbol. In the text it states the bald eagle has been the US National animal for 230 years. In May, President Obama named the Bison the national animal of America. This article now states that the Bison is now our US symbol. The bald eagle has had too much fun with our Country, so it is now time for the Bison to roam!

There are two national animals that are U.S. symbols. They are the bald eagle and the buffalo. The buffalo played and important role in the ecosystem of the grasslands where they grazed because they were a source of food, clothing, and shelter.

Three things that represent the U.S. are the bald eagle, buffalo, and the five cent piece with the buffalo on it.

I think that symbols are important. I think this because symbols represent our school, companies, and even our country. They are a way to recognize things in a good way. Things like the eagle, buffalo, and The American Flag all represent our country. This is why I think that symbols are important.

There are many reasons why symbols are important. Symbols give meaning without using words. For example, two sabres crossed is the symbol for the sport of fencing. Also, the picture of a boy or girl on a public bathroom door is a common symbol. With the symbol on the bathroom door you do not need to read the words. After reading this you can see symbols are important.

There are many symbols that represent the US. Three symbols are the flag, the eagle, and the buffalo. The buffalo is a symbol of the US because it has been an important animal to the people of our country. The eagle is a symbol because it is powerful and strong like our country. The stripes on the flag symbolize the 13 colonies and the stars are the 50 states. People recognize these as symbols of our country. Those are the three of the symbols that represent the U.S.A.

Symbols are important. They are important because symbols represents someone or something. They give us something to honor. American symbols give us something to respect. They give us pride in our country. These are the reasons I know symbols are important.
There are symbols for the United States. President Obama named the bison as the national mammal. In the text, it states “Since then, the eagle has had to share the symbolic spotlight .” Now the eagle and bison represent the U.S. These are two important symbols. Another symbol is the American flag. We all know the American flag stands for the 50 states united together. Those are three symbols that represent the U.S.

There are many reasons why symbols are important.I think symbols are important because they show strength and pride. The reason I say this is because bison are a symbol of strength and the symbol of our country. In the TFK it states “in the 1900s fewer than 1,000 wild bison remained on the plains. But in the 1930s bison were no longer in danger of extinction.” This shows the strength of bison. Therefore this why I think bison are important symbols of our country.

Three thing that represent the U.S are bald eagels bison and the American flag.

Symbols are important to people. They are because they stand for different things. There are many symbols that represent our country. One symbol that represents the USA is the American flag. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states. Another thing that represents the USA is the bald eagle. One last symbol that represents the USA is the Liberty Bell. It stands for freedom. These are some symbols that represent our country.

Symbols are important. They are important because are like the United States mascot. They are also important because they show bravery and respect to our country. Also they don’t have to be the same they can be small they can be big just like the buffalo but they show honer and honesty.

R-The symbols are important. A-Millions of bison roamed the NY. C-Animals played an important roles in the ecoysystem and they grazed there. E-I know this because a bison is a source of food. S- This is how the symbols are important.

  17. December 7th, 2016 at 3:43 pm      Reply Jake D Says:

Symbols are important because they are pictures that represent ideas and it is easier to look at pictures than read. Three symbols that represent the U.S. are the White House, the bald eagle, and the Statue of Liberty. The White House represents all the presidents. The bald eagle represents freedom. The Statue of Liberty represents hope and freedom for the immigrants. Therefore, symbols are important to represent ideas with pictures.

Symbols are important.Symbols are important because the represent
something. Also they show you the meaning or purpose of something.
Last but not least they may be helping a person or a animal.I know
this because Thomas said naming the bison the national animal was
an important step in making sure this animal is protected. Also it was an
important design and a great one to because there are 500,000 bison
grazing today in all 50 states. There is a lot of reasons to why bisons
are an important symbol. After all symbols are important.

Symbols are important. For 234 years the bald eagle has been the U.S. national animal but in May president Brack Obama signed a law naming the bison the national mammal. Since then the eagle has had to share the symbolic spotlight the North American Bison is called a buffalo. The bison was also another symbol on a nickel. The American flag is another symbol of the U.S. I think these symbols are inportant because they represent our country.

    A. Symbols are important because they are cultural representations of ideas or the world around those people.
    C. In the text it states that buffalo were on the endangered list, but now they are no longer endangered thanks to symbols.
    E. When buffalo became a symbol of America, it raised awareness of this awesome animal and people stopped killing them. This led to their population increase and no longer being endangered.
S.after reading this you may now realize how important symbols are
