Lang Book List 2008/9
AP Lang HW over December break:
1. Post two questions to the Tyson blog post for Blood before Jan. 1st.
2. Assemble a balanced group of seven source materials, including at least one graphic (photo, cartoon, reproduction of painting, chart, etc). One to two sources should be neutral (either side could use them). Using the sample packet, write directions, provide context, and write a clear essay prompt for a Synthesis essay that requires writers to support, challange/refute, or qualify your claim.
3. Read Tracy Kidder’s Among Schoolchildren. Bring it in, finished, when you return.
4. Post your TED Talk, with your persuasive paragraph convincing us to watch it, on the blog before you return on Jan. 5th.
