Each year students apply to become members of the Exhibit Committee of the Art Honor Society. If accepted, they host a series of student run exhibits in the Library Gallery. Exhibit Committee members are responsible for setting the themes, creating flyers for the call for work as well as the exhibit invitation, installing the show, hosting the reception and taking down the show.
For our first show, students chose the theme of Fan Art and Cos Paint.
This show has been curated by: Lei Powell, Brittany Hahn, Rebecca Straniere and Dominique Arroyo.

As many of us struggle to make sense of the senseless acts of violence in Baton Rouge, St. Paul and Dallas over the past week, North alumni Maggie Andresen uses photography to lend a hand.
Maggie (daughter of our Librarian, Mrs. Dickerson) took this photo in New Orleans during a protest march this weekend. Maggie is interning with the Times Picayune newspaper for the summer. Her photo was picked up by Associated Press and was featured as the closing picture on last night’s ABC world news and CNN’s newshour.
Maggie graduated CHSN in 2013 and is studying photo journalism at Temple University in Philadelphia.
It has been an amazing year! Thank you to all of the current leadership team members for helping to create such a successful year! From murals to spirit events, and community service projects to Turkeygrams, you have all really left your mark!
Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about next year!
To this end, I invite all of those interested to consider applying for either Officer or Exhibits Committee Positions.
All necessary information can be found at the Leadership Team Application Page. I would also recommend that you speak to current Officers and Exhibit Committee members to get first hand intel on what this commitment entails.
Applications are being accepted through May 27.
