Do you want to be cool?  Do you want all the ladies? Well you’ve got to get a Ripstick! It’s no ordinary board, it’s the ultimate carving machine. It’s the #1 toy ever! So go to a store near you and buy a Ripstick now!!!!

First, find out which foot to put in front of the Ripstick. Make sure that you know which foot go’s in front or you will fall off.  Once you know which foot go’s in front you’ ll be fine. Try to stay come or you will not be able to get on.

Next, push off the ground to get a head start (tricky). Once you get on stay calm and steady. If you don’t think your feet are in the right position,  jump off and try again. Stay balanced like on a balance beam.  If you do that you’ll be fine.

Then, to move, swing your hips back and forth. Swing your hips like a hula-hoop to be steady.  When I first tried, I fell right down.  Be careful not to fall. Remember slow and steady wins the race.

After that, if you go on a hill you have to swing your hips really fast. But don’t do it too fast or you will fall flat on your face like I did. Just take nice long swings and you’ll make it. If you do that you’ll be fine.

Finally, when you want to turn, turn your back foot left to go right, and to go left turn your back foot right. It might sound confusing, but think about it. If you still can’t figure it out you could just lean left or right. Don’t lean too much or you will slip. Just never lean if it’s damp out because you will slip out of nowhere and hurt yourself.

Now that you know how to ride a Ripstick you’ll be the coolest kid in school!!!!

I remember when I first went to the Rocky Mountains. I went there in March 2008 not too long ago. Would you like to hear about it? I thought so. Ready? Let’s go!

My first time in the Rocky Mountains was fun and scary. I was excited to speed down the mountains on my snowboard and go down all the slopes.  But I was a little scared going down the mountain because I could crash into a tree and break my leg, or if the altitude was too high I would have trouble breathing.

Right after I went up and down the slopes, I wasn’t scared at all! It was so exciting and fun! I felt like I was flying high above the mountains.  After that I thought I can accomplish anything.   It was so much fun in Colorado, and I hope I go again next year!!
