There’s a Girl in the Boy’s Bathroom by Louis Sachar
Posted by: annlien1, in Reading Group, Annlie N., Students' Favorite Books, Book ReviewsThe book that I read was “There’s a Boy In The Girls Bathroom” by Louis Sachar. It is about Mrs. Ebbel’s class. There’s a new student that has to sit next to Bradley Chalkers. His name is Jeff. Bradley sits in the last row last seat in the classroom. When Jeff starts school he goes to the Counselor’s Office. She likes the students to call her Carla. The first time Jeff went to visit Carla, he accidently went into the girls bathroom. He was embarrassed. Bradley starts going to visit Carla from now on. At first Bradley is mean, obnoxious, and rude. But after a little bit he seems very grand, joyful, and nice. Bradley doesn’t like to do homework, but now that Carla told him he should try it, Bradley started to do his homework. After a while Jeff got new friends which made him very mean. He doesn’t visit Carla anymore since he made new friends. Then Jeff starts to be a bully. He bullies Bradley a lot. Because Jeff did that, Bradley got a black eye. At the end, Carla and Bradley are best friends. They talk to each other a lot and write each other notes. This was a very interesting book. I recommend you to read this wonderful and enlightening book!
