Being Safe and Responsible: Posting Rules
Our blog is an extension of our classroom community. While Ms. Feiner and Mr. Frerichs review all posts and comments before they go online, make sure that you are developing safe and responsible habits for using the Internet. Here are our rules for posting:
- Use your first name or your initials when you post, but do not post anything else that would identify you. That includes your last name, address, email, and any links to online blogs that you might participate in.
- Be respectful when you comment to other posters. Treat others as you would want to be treated. Don’t make jokes that could be misunderstood.
- If you use information from other websites or other people in your work, make sure that you give credit to that site or person. Never pass off someone else’s work as your own.
- If anything on our blog, or other sites on the Internet, is confusing or makes you uncomfortable, share your questions with an adult.
