I’ll never forget the day my sister went to the hospital. It was scary but it all worked out. That day changed my life. If this didn’t happen to you just keep on reading. Now you’ll read about what changed my life.
In the beginning, I woke up at 8:00 in the morning. I got in the car and went to the Nyack Hospital. When I got in the car I was freezing cold. I went to the Nyack Hospital because my sister got her appendix removed. I was very happy to see her! I stayed up all night making her a card. When I gave it to her she said “Thank you. I love it!” The card was in polka dots but the colors were in red, blue, green, and all the colors I had. She looked happy that we were there to visit her but after a while she was looking tired.
Next, I watched TV with her. In the episode there was Scooby Doo, Shaggy, and Scrappy Doo. They we’re looking for clues in a haunted house. When my sister Julie needed to go to the bathroom my mom and I helped her. We helped her because she couldn’t walk as well as she used to. At 5:00 we ordered some soup, chicken, and some rice. It was delicious but the rice could have been improved. It was much dryer than usual.
Finally, it was time for me to leave. I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay with my sister Julie. When I got home I went to sleep worrying about my sister Julie. She looked tired and sad. I was not happy at that moment. When I left she said ”Goodbye.I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Annlie, I enjoyed reading about this experience very much, particularly since I can picture how affected you were by this experience. It really comes to life when you describe your sister, how she needed help and how tired she was. Keep up the good work! Ms. Feiner
