Picking my cat out
Do you want to hear about picking my cat out? Well if you do you are up for some funny things that happened to my family while picking my cat out. So if you love animals I suggest you read this storyJ
One day we decided getting a pet that didn’t live in water would be a good idea. So we went to Petsmart first, then we went to the animal shelter. Neither of the places were able to give us a cat that same day. After that I thought we would never get a cat, but luckily my brother read the comics that morning. When he was flipping to get to the comics he saw a Petco article. He remembered as we drove by the plaza he said really quickly so my mom could the turn ”Let’s go to Petco!”
So we went to Petco and they had cats! “There are so many cats,” my brother said. My future cat Domino was in a cage with his sister. My brother and I, said to my mom could we get him?
While my mom was thinking a girl said “mom could we get this cat?” NO, NO I thought this is going to be my cat. I wanted to get him because he had a beautiful diamond on his nose and he had beautiful fur. As her mom was about to answer I ran over to the cat and said “You’re coming home with me” My mom saw how much I wanted this cat she told My brother and I,YESJ!I jumped with joy and gave my brother a high five. I was amazed that my mom said yes. When we got home, I played with my new friend.
I loved that cat as soon as I saw him. In my family we pretend he is our brother because he is so loving and nice to our whole family. The funny thing about my cat is, you think the people who brought him home would be the ones who he would love the most but as you know in this story I did not mention my dad because he was not there. Yet my cat still loves my dad the most!

Ashley, I really enjoyed reading about how you got your “brother.” You really built some nice suspense when you were writing about the other girl who had her eye on him. Keep up the good work! Ms. Feiner
Ashley I love how you added so much detail! I’d rather have a boy cat too!Casey
