Title: Santa Paws on Christmas Island       Author: Kris Edwards

This book is about a family who doesn’t spend their Christmas in a snowy place.  Instead their Uncle Steve saved Big Jim Jessup from getting hit by a big truck.  So they got to go to
Florida and go to Big Jim’s Hotel the Oasis.  They get 4 rooms for the kids and 4 for the adults.  In chapter # 7, Gregory and Miranda get surfing lessons.  Gregory is the only boy, including the teacher, who is a girl. Gregory is embarrassed because he keeps on falling and he isn’t in the water yet.  I recommend this book, because it is a good book.  If you read it, I guarantee you will like it.  This book is a mystery book because in every chapter something kind of bad happens.  I enjoyed this book because I love mystery books.  You have got to read it!!!!!!!!!

From Ms. Feiner: Sarah, Nice job on the book review. I love mysteries too, so I’ll look for this book at the library. Is it like The Boxcar Chldren mysteries? It sounds a bit like that, although the way you describe it, it might be scarier.
