Title: Santa Paws on Christmas Island       Author: Kris Edwards

This book is about a family who doesn’t spend their Christmas in a snowy place.  Instead their Uncle Steve saved Big Jim Jessup from getting hit by a big truck.  So they got to go to
Florida and go
to Big Jim’s Hotel the Oasis.  They get 4 rooms for the kids and 4 for the adults.  In chapter # 7, Gregory and Miranda get surfing lessons.  Gregory is the only boy, including the teacher, who is a girl. Gregory is embarrassed because he keeps on falling and he isn’t in the water yet.  I recommend this book, because it is a good book.  If you read it, I guarantee you will like it.  This book is a mystery book because in every chapter something kind of bad happens.  I enjoyed this book because I love mystery books.  You have got to read it!!!!!!!!!

Title: The Homework Machine  Author: Dan Gutman

In The Homework Machine there is a boy named Brenton who invented a homework machine. He let three of his friends use it. Then the police found out and now the kids are being questioned. Also one day they went on the Internet and told everyone to wear their clothes backwards and they did it.   It was so funny.  I would recommend this book to someone who likes funny stories and doesn’t like to do homework.

Title: Ms. Lagrange is Strange by Dan Guttman

Do you like comedy? Do you like books? Do you like food? If you like all three of them Ms. Lagrange is Strange! is right up your alley. This book is about how a boy named A.J. and his friends Michael and Ryan make their lunch lady quit. So now “Ella Mentry” school is in need for a lunch lady. Turns out it will be Ms. Lagrange. But the worst part is, a guest is coming to give “Ella Mentry” school an award but the school must be in tip top shape and that may cause some chaos in the lunch room because we all know Ms.Lagrange is Strange!

I recommend the book this book to people who hates books. Because I used to hate books to; but; after I read this book I read this book it made me to love books of all sorts!

Title: Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsAuthor: J.K. Rowling

I recommend the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. In the book a boy named Harry Potter goes to a magical school named Hogwarts where a lot of strange things happen there, people are dying. It’s up to Harry to save Hogwarts and the people inside. All he needs to do is to kill the huge snake and save the people in the chamber. But there is another problem. Lord Valomort. I recommend this book because there is a lot of magic and I like magic. Also, there is nonstop action and I like that too.

Title: The Bridges of New York City by Cara A. Sutherland

This book is about all the bridges that are built in New York City.   Some of the bridges  have decorations all around them. It is also about bridges that open and close for ships. Some of the bridges have gold, silver, copper, and turquoise in them.  They are all different shapes.I recommend this book because I could see all the cool features from the top in the pictures. And my favorite solid shape for the top is a pyramid. I could see the point which is at the top of the pyramid.
