Who will be the next great nature photographer?
NANPA is currently accepting nominations and applications for its High School and College Scholarship Programs. Students will be offered a rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the 18th Annual NANPA Nature Photography Summit in Jacksonville, Florida where they’ll participate in field workshops and classroom instruction designed specifically for them. Scholarships cover all lodging, meals, and the Summit registration fee. Transportation to and from Jacksonville is not included.
High School Program Info
Students must be 14 years old by June 1, 2012, but not yet 19 as of January 1, 2013. Nomination/application deadline is November 30, 2012. Program description and application info available here.
College Program Info
Applicants must be full-time students at a two or four-year college, university or trade school and be at least 19 years of age by December 31, 2012. Nomination/application deadline is November 16, 2012. Program description and application info available here.

This years’ award will go to 3 seniors who best exemplify the passion for art and commitment to community service that Dana demonstrated throughout her life. Each will be awarded a $100 gift card.

The Arts Council of Rockland is offering scholarships for seniors furthering their artistic education in a public or private college, university, or conservatory located in New York State beginning in the fall of 2010. Includes visual art, architecture, written word, dance, theatre, musical theatre, music, and videography. Application can be downloaded at www.artscouncilofrockland.org
