Requests for transcripts for Seton Hall credits

Seniors who have completed Seton Hall courses through the Art Department can use the link below to attain an official transcript to send to the school you will be attending.

Please note, students must receive a grade of “C” or higher to earn credit from Seton Hall.  Prospective colleges may require higher grades in order to accept the transfer of credit.  Please plan to speak with your prospective colleges to find out their policy on transfer of college credits earned in high school.

Semester courses met for 75 hours.

Full year courses met for 150 hours.

November is Portfolio Review Month in our Region! Catch these Dates…

Seniors applying to art programs and/or art schools can take advantage of several local venues to have their portfolio reviewed.

Seniors are always invited to speak with any of the art teachers within our department about selection of items for their portfolio submission.

11/3 – Mill Street Loft, 4- 8pm, Hyde Park NY, list of attending colleges

11/10 Westchester Community College, 4-7pm, list of attending schools

11/12 – Jacob Javits Convention Center,12-4pm NYC, list of attending colleges

11/15 – Clarkstown High School South 12 – 3pm

11/16-Clarkstown High School North, 10-2:30pm, x-wing hallway

Upcoming Events in The Art Department

Tuesday, 9/26 – First General Meeting of the Art Honor Society, auditorium, afterschool

This meeting is encouraged for all juniors and seniors interested in the application process.

This meeting is encourage for all students (freshman and sophomores included) that would like to hear about upcoming activities.

Wednesday, 9/27 – Art Workshop, DRAW IT ON, PASS IT ON

This workshop is open to ALL students (even those not currently enrolled in an art class). Bring your friends!

This workshop will feature collaborative art-making experiences that will ultimately become the imagery for our first student exhibit.

The workshop and the exhibit will both count towards the Art Honor Society application.
